I’ve never believed that a career needs to follow a conventional path. Mine certainly hasn’t.
Over the years, I’ve worked across entrepreneurship, consulting, consumer technology and financial services, helping businesses navigate change, develop strategies and find opportunities for growth. I’ve co-founded a consultancy, advised organisations, led regional teams and built Digital Nomads Asia from an idea into a community connecting people across borders.
Living and working globally has shaped how I see the world. Exposure to different cultures, economies and communities has taught me that meaningful progress requires more than commercial ambition. It requires an understanding of people, the decisions that shape their lives and the wider forces influencing our societies.
My interests extend well beyond the boardroom. I’m deeply interested in strategy, geopolitics, public policy and the relationship between economic development and social change. I’m drawn to difficult questions about leadership, power, inequality and the social norms we’ve come to accept without much thought. I believe challenging established thinking is necessary, particularly when the consequences of our decisions extend far beyond ourselves.
As an author and social commentator, I explore some of these questions through books and essays. I don’t claim to have all the answers, and I’m comfortable with that. What matters to me is remaining curious, being willing to reconsider my own convictions and creating space for perspectives that challenge mine.
Ultimately, I believe the measure of what we accomplish isn’t simply what we build or how successful we become. It’s also the impact we have on others, the communities we help strengthen and the principles we’re willing to stand by.
The work matters. So does how we treat people along the way.
